A screenshot is optional but strongly recommended — products with screenshots get significantly more clicks.
Every submission goes through AI validation before it's listed. This is what makes Check'd different from every other directory — nothing gets in just because someone submitted it.
The AI checks whether your product is real, working, and genuinely useful. It's not looking to reject you. It's looking for a reason to approve you.
If your product gets rejected, the AI tells you exactly why. Fix that specific thing and resubmit as a new URL (or substantially update the product first). Resubmitting the exact same thing to the same URL won't pass.
Approved products appear on the products page immediately — no waiting, no moderation queue, no human review delay. The AI is the gatekeeper.
Your listing shows your name, tagline, description, screenshot, and two metrics: views (how many people saw it) and uses (how many clicked Use It). No upvotes. No ranking games. Just real usage.
